The Scottish Storytelling Centre will play host to a couple of events on the theme of the Tree of Life in early December, to coincide with the Paris conference. Details below:

1st of December | 7pm (2hrs) | £8 | Storytelling Court

A celebration of what holds us together on Planet Earth. The tree has roots, branches and leaves, and offers a habitat for birds, insects and animals. It symbolises the inter-relation of life and an ecology that unites humanity and nature. Share Tree of Life stories, songs and dances from around the world so that the Climate Change Conference in Paris may receive the oldest wisdom – the wisdom of life – and give our children their future.

5th of December | 2pm (2hrs 30) | £15 | Training Venue

TRACS is gathering stories, songs and dances featuring the Tree of Life in many cultures for the World Climate Change Conference in Paris. This workshop offers adaptable resources for environmental education with storyteller and educator Beth Cross showcasing how to convert them into creative learning.
